Introduction
In this session, Zechariah 9:9-17, we aim to understand the prophecy of a humble yet victorious King riding a donkey, bringing peace and restoring God’s people. It describes a new era where war chariots are destroyed, the covenant is renewed, and Zion is fortified against enemies. The passage promises restoration, divine protection, and agricultural abundance for the restored Israel.
