Introduction
In this session, we will examine Zechariah 6:9-15 to understand the crowning of Joshua (Jesus) after the completion of the temple. Joshua means Jesus, and this event will come after he comes the first time, and when he comes the second time, when God puts all the enemies of Jesus under his feet. Psalm 110: 1, Matthew 22:44 – Jesus uses the verse to challenge the Pharisees. Acts 2:34–35 – Peter cites it to prove Christ’s lordship. Hebrews 10:12–13 – Describes Jesus waiting at God’s right hand.
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Understood the meaning of the visions of the four chariots coming from the lord
- Appreciated that God will punish the sin of the North, Babylon
- Understand the differ spirit are sent from the lord

- Read Zechariah 6: 9-11. What did the word from God tell Zechariah to do?
- Read Zechariah 6: 12-13. What was the meaning of the act being done here? Which Branch was represented by Joshua the priest? What is a crown? Who wears a crown?
- Read Zechariah 6: 14-15. What is the meaning of this picture in the near future (rebuilding of the stopped temple) and distant future (coming of Jesus)
