Parents’ response towards Jesus’ arrival
Introduction
In this session, Luke 2: 43-50, and Matthew 1:18-25, we emphasize how the parents of Jesus responded when He was left at the temple during the festival. We will also focus on Joseph’s responses when he realized that Mary is pregnant.
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Parents’ response when Jesus was left in the temple
- Understood the fivefold growth 🪴 by looking at Jesus model of growth.
- Appreciated how Jesus showed growth to his parents and his teachers

Group Study Time
Luke 2: 43-50, Mathew 1: 18-25.
Connecting
- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.
- Start with a heartfelt prayer, inviting God to guide and bless your understanding.
- Explore the passage by reading it at least twice, using different Bible versions if available, then retell the story together as a group.
- Reflect and share the challenges and blessings you experienced from the previous study.
