Introduction
In this session, Ezra 6: 13-22, we focus on understanding how the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem was completed and dedicated despite hostility from the people of the land, and even after it was stopped for 16 years.

Connecting
- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.
- Start with a heartfelt prayer, inviting God to guide and bless your understanding.
- Explore the passage by reading it at least twice, using different Bible versions if available, then retell the story together as a group.
- Reflect and share the challenges and blessings you experienced from the previous study.
Comprehending
- Read Ezra 6: 13-16. Who contributed to the completion of the temple? What was each person’s role? Exactly when was the temple finished? Describe how you completed any of your projects.
- Read Ezra 6: 17-18. Describe people’s response after the completion of the temple?
- What is dedication? Why is it important? How was the dedication of the temple done?
- Read Ezra 6:19-22. What is the Passover celebration? When was it done in Israel? What is revealed about the celebration of the Passover and the feast of unleavened bread?
