Introduction
In this session, we examine Esther 9:20-32 to understand how Purim was officially established as the Jewish festival, its significance, and ways to observe the holiday. The celebration transforms days that could be sorrowful into times of feasting, joy, and charity, helping preserve the memory of God’s salvation for future generations. We will explore the roles of all involved in both declaring Purim and setting celebration guidelines. When God appears silent, His protective hand is often still at work. Theologically, this victory points to an ultimate triumph over evil, symbolizing a final deliverance.
