Introduction
In this session, Esther 9:11-19, we examine the details of the events following the victory in Susa. Esther requests the king for an extra day for the Jews to defend themselves in the citadel and for the hanging of Haman’s sons, which ensures the threat is eliminated. This results in the final defeat of their enemies and marks the start of celebrations.
