Introduction
In this session, we focus on Nehemiah 13:23-31 to understand the final part of Nehemiah’s reforms. He addresses the issue of intermarriage with surrounding pagan nations, which caused their children to lose their Jewish identity and language. Nehemiah enforces the covenant strictly, reminding the people how King Solomon was led astray, and removes everything foreign from the community. The book ends with people still struggling to fully obey God, underscoring the need for a savior.
