Introduction
In this session, we will focus on understanding how Zechariah 9:9, 1:16, and the prophecies of 9:9 were fulfilled during Passion Week in Matthew 21:1-11. Zechariah had prophesied that Jesus would return to his stronghold; this was later fulfilled and recorded by Matthew. In Matthew 21:1-11, Jesus taught his disciples about the grace and truth of giving freedom to the captives or imprisoned people through the story of untying a bound donkey. The devil uses three major gates of hell to tie or imprison God’s people: the spirit of empty religion, the spirit of racism and negative culture, and the spirit of the dark world of witchcraft. Jesus called his disciples to be with Him and sent them to set free those who are bound with the Power of the Holy Spirit. Freely you have received, freely give.
