Introduction
In this session, Zechariah 12:1-14 focuses on the purification, protection, and spiritual restoration of Israel and Jerusalem in the final conflict at the war of Armageddon (end times, in the day of the Lord). Revelation 16: 12-16. The session promises that God will make Jerusalem a heavy stone, crippling attacking nations, while strengthening Judah. God promises to pour out the spirit of grace (binding the broken staff called favor), leading to national repentance as they mourn the one they “pierced”.
