Introduction
In this session, we focus on Nehemiah 8:13-18, which describes the meeting the next day among the leaders and families of Israel for a public reading of the Law, to gain a deeper understanding. During the study, they rediscover God’s command to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (Booths), a joyful festival that commemorates God’s provision during Israel’s wilderness journey. The people responded by going to the fields, cutting olive branches, building shelters, and celebrating with great joy. This passage highlights the power of God’s Word to revive forgotten truths, inspire obedience, and restore joy within the community.
