Introduction
In this session, Nehemiah 6:10-19, his enemies resort to new hidden strategies, such as hiring a false prophet to trick Nehemiah into hiding in the Temple sanctuary. We understand the enemy’s shift to insidious tactics after failing to stop the wall’s construction. Nehemiah faces spiritual deception, character assassination, and internal betrayal but relies on discernment and prayer to successfully complete the wall and maintain his integrity. Despite the wall’s completion in just 52 days, Nehemiah continues to contend with internal betrayal, as trusted nobles in Judah become compromised through alliances with the enemy, Tobiah.
