Expressing Christ Within Family Relationships (Part 3)
Matthew 19:1-30
- Session: 28
- Week: 4
- Day: 7
Introduction
In Matthew 19:1-30, we explore the stumbling blocks that hinder a biblical family from fully manifesting Christ—Part 3. This session highlights the relationships within a family that form the foundation of their ministry to the world. If these stumbling blocks are not addressed, they can prevent a family from maximising its potential. Jesus identifies three main stumbling blocks: the couple’s faithfulness to the original godly pattern, connecting children to their source (God) through blessings and godly upbringing, and teaching the younger generation how to relate to resources and possessions. Jesus emphasises the Kingdom principles and practices necessary for families to remain influential, resilient, and a resource among hostile cultures, focusing on original biblical marriage, parenting, and financial management.
