Introduction
In this session, Luke 24:13-35, we focus on how Jesus was able to convince the two runaway disciples that he was alive. We will listen to their disappointment that Jesus was dead and how they had hoped he would be the savior of Israel
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Confirmed that Jesus resurrected from the dead in line with the prophecy given, his own predictions, and the actual proofs of resurrection from eyewitnesses.
- Been challenged that even after the three witnesses, believers and non-believers still fail to accept the truth that Jesus is alive (Why)?

- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.

- Reflect and share the challenges and blessings you experienced from the previous study.
Comprehending
- Read Luke 24: 13-24. What is revealed about two followers of Jesus? Who were they? Where were they going? Why? What was the state of their hearts? Etc
- Read Luke 24: 25-35. List down at least 3 methods Jesus used to convince the two running disciples that He was risen?
- What are the indicators that they were convinced and convinced that Jesus was alive?
- What have you learnt about the resurrection message? Who would you explain this week about Jesus’ victory over death to both believers and non-believers?
