Introduction
In this session, Luke 8: 1-15, Jesus pointed out the four types of agents of transformation and how Jesus developed them. These types of hearts are not a permanent state, but four states an agent of change can find themselves on the journey of growth 🪴.
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Understood the four types of agents of change by listing the conditions of their growth, listing the benefits of listening to the word of God, and saying how Jesus tested the faith of the agents of transformation.

Connecting
- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.
- Start with a heartfelt prayer, inviting God to guide and bless your understanding.
- Explore the passage by reading it at least twice, using different Bible versions if available, then retell the story together as a group.
- Reflect and share the challenges and blessings you experienced from the previous study.

- Read Luke 8: 1-3. List the names of the women whom Jesus included as agents of change. What was their state before becoming partners with Jesus?
- Read Luke 8: 4-8. List the four types of soil the Sower planted the seeds in? What affected each soil’s productivity?
- What is a parable? Why did Jesus use parables as a preferred method of training? Luke 8: 9-10.
- Read Luke 8: 11-15. List the four types of hearts of those trained as agents of change, and what condition restricted growth or enhanced growth? Discuss
