Peter Denies Jesus During His Illegal Trial
Introduction
In this session, Luke 22: 54-71, we learn from Peter’s example 5 levels of scattering from Jesus and from the flock ( Communion of saints), first, trusting in the flesh instead of trust in the Lord, second, sleeping when he is supposed to be praying, third, using the physical means to fight for Christ instead of spiritual means, fourth, following Jesus at a distance instead of abiding in his shelter and fifth, warming himself in the strange fires 🔥 of the enemy. We also understand Jesus’ response during His illegal trial.
