Managing kingdom Relationship resources
Introduction
In this session, Luke 17:1-19. The heart of a family manager, both spiritual and physical, is known by his response when he wrongs others, or when others wrong him, when he serves others, or when he is served. This session explains four attributes or attitudes that a manager of spiritual or human resources in a family of God continues to develop. These attitudes are: “I am sorry,” “I forgive you,” “You are welcome,” and “Thank you.”
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Understood four attitudes that define a manager or steward of the mysteries of God by looking at the biblical examples provided.

Group Study Time
Luke 17: 1-19
Connecting
- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.
- Start with a heartfelt prayer, inviting God to guide and bless your understanding.
- Explore the passage by reading it at least twice, using different Bible versions if available, then retell the story together as a group.
- Reflect and share the challenges and blessings you experienced from the previous study.
Comprehending
- When do you say the following four words within a family set up, namely, I am sorry, I forgive you, you are welcome and thank you. Discuss
- Read Luke 17:1 2. What did Jesus teach about causing others to stumble or sin? Why is being sorry a good thing to do?
- Read Luke 17: 3-6. What did Jesus teach about a believer wronging you? Why is forgiving him the right thing to do?
- Read Luke 17: 7-10. What did Jesus teach about our attitude concerning serving our masters? Why is ‘you are welcome, sir’ an appropriate thing to say?
- Read Luke 17: 11-19. What did Jesus teach about the healing of ten lepers, and what was their response when they realized they were healed? Why is, thank you, the right thing to do when someone meets your need

- List three lessons you have learnt as an agent of change that you would like to put into practice and teach others about.
- Take time and worship Jesus with the attributes revealed about Christ.

Communicating
- Identify one person you can connect with and share the valuable insights and lessons you gained from this session.
- Reach out to a new believer—either in person or by phone—and pray with them to support them through their challenges, including any concerns about attending church.
- Create a new group and guide others through this study to help them grow in their understanding.
