Connecting
- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.
- Start with a heartfelt prayer, inviting God to guide and bless your understanding.
- Explore the passage by reading it at least twice, using different Bible versions if available, then retell the story together as a group.
- Reflect and share the challenges and blessings you experienced from the previous study.

- Read Luke 8: 16-18. What are the benefits of listening to the word of God? What else do you learn about the parable of the lamp?
- Who is the real family of Jesus? Luke 8: 19-21. Why did the family of Jesus want to see him?
- Read Luke 8: 22-25. How did Jesus test the faith of the disciples, which comes by hearing the word of God?
