Jesus Rejected at Nazareth
Introduction
In this session, we will focus on the rejection of Jesus upon returning from the wilderness, filled with power (Luke 4: 14-30, Matt 4: 12-17, Mark 1: 14-15). Jesus introduced God’s fivefold mission. The people spoke well of him, but when he mentioned Gentiles as part of the beneficiaries of the mission of God, the Jews became furious, wanting even to kill Him. This is the spirit of racism at work
