Jesus opposed, and how he responded to his Critics
Introduction
In this session, Luke 5: 17-39, Jesus taught his disciples about the nature of opposition to transformation and how to respond to these critics intelligently (apologetics, see 1 Peter 3:4). He highlighted the agents of deformation (persecution) and their strategy.
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Understood the nature of opposition to kingdom transformation by highlighting who the agents were, what they were opposed to, and why and how Jesus silenced them biblically
- Appreciated that everything you do will be objected to by critics, hence the need to be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks for it.
