The Good Gate and His Sheep, The Third I AM
Introduction
Integrating the blind flock who are wandering in the valley of the shadow of death into the fellowship is the foundation of transformative learning. In this session, John 10: 1-10, Jesus addresses the Pharisees who chased away the healed man from the Synagogue because he confessed Jesus as the Messiah (John 9:20-23, 33-34). Jesus describes himself as the gate, the good shepherd to the man chased away from the synagogue (cell church) and those other sheep not yet in his sheep pen. He rebuked the Pharisees as both thieves and hirelings to the sheep of God.
Objectives
