Jesus heals a man born blind (non seeking learner)
Introduction
In this session, John 9:1-12, we discover how Jesus enlightened a man born blind and how four categories of travelers reacted to that healing. Jesus expands people’s ideas on the cause of Blindness and sickness. The man born blind will progressively know Jesus in many dimensions, firstly, Jesus was just as a mere man.
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Understood the principles of healing by looking at the healer, the healed man, and the reaction of the onlookers
- Appreciated that Jesus, the light of the world, could enlighten all who sit in darkness and the valley of the shadow of death

Connecting
- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.

- What is healing? What are the types of healing? Why does Jesus heal his people? How does he heal? How does healing bring glory to God?
- What did people understand about the concept of sins and sickness? How did Jesus expand their understanding? John 9:1-5
- Read John 9: 1-12. What is revealed about the disciples and the healing of the man, Jesus and the healing of the man, the blind man and his healing, and the neighbors and the healing of the man?
