Introduction
In this session, John 4:1-14, we explore how different people (travellers) related to Jesus (the stairway). We also see how Jesus transformed some of these travellers into true worshippers. The key questions we will reflect on are:
- Who do the Jewish leaders (travellers) say Jesus is?
- Who does the Samaritan woman say Jesus is?
Additionally, we will discover the five levels the Samaritan woman went through in coming to know Jesus better and ultimately becoming a true worshipper.
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Appreciated how Jesus won a Samaritan woman into a true worshipper of God.
- Understood two of the five stages the Samaritan woman went through in becoming a true worshipper in Christ by examining the provided verses.
