Faithful Witnesses to Jesus as equal to God
Introduction
In this session John 5: 19-30, the study focus on understanding the testimony of the witnesses of Jesus as being equal God. These witnesses as in the court of law established the matter of Jesus being the son of God. The study will establish confidence to the learner in answering that Jesus is equal to God before the false teachers today. These witnesses include the word, his works, the workers, the father, Moses even Satan.
Objectives
By the end of this session the learner will have:
- Establish the matter of Jesus being equal to God by listening to the 5 witnesses who testified.
- Been confident to answer the question, ‘is Jesus equal God’ before the critics and false teachers today
Outline
- Five credible witnesses agree that Jesus is equal to God.
- Pharisees encountering Jesus but failing to experience Jesus in the soul winning proces

Connecting
- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.
- Start with a heartfelt prayer, inviting God to guide and bless your understanding.

- Who are witnesses in the court of law? why are witnesses in the court of law necessary in winning both the case and the soul of the opponent
- Read John 5: 31-47. Identify five witnesses who confirmed that Jesus is God. Explain what each of the witnesses testified about Jesus being God
