Introduction
Overview of Ezekiel 43:1-27. This chapter can be effectively divided into two distinct study sessions. It transitions from the breathtaking return of God’s glory to specific, practical instructions for consecrating the altar. Ezekiel 43:1-12. After departing from the defiled temple in earlier chapters because of Israel’s idolatry, the Glory of the Lord returns from the east, filling the new temple with radiant light and a sound like rushing waters. God declares this temple His throne, demanding permanent holiness and a complete break from past spiritual unfaithfulness
