Introduction
In this session Ephesians chapter 6: 10-24, we will focus on understanding how the spirit guided relationship enables the bride of Jesus to stand firm in the hostile environment: that is, spirit guided relationship between children and parents, between children and fathers and between slaves and masters. We will appreciate how to engage the spiritual wolves of the new community by putting on the whole armor of God. Finally, we will be introduced on how to serve our leaders in this pilgrimage.
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Understood to engage in a spirit-guided relationship within a hostile environment (wife, husband, children, worker, businessperson, employee, employer, missionary, bride of Christ)
- Appreciated the need for putting on the whole armour of God to remain in the rulership of God and resist being converted into the world.
- Committed to putting on the entire armory of God every morning as you start the day
- Appreciated the order of being victorious (wife of Christ) every day by first sitting, then walking and finally standing firm for your husband Jesus Christ.

- Read Ephesians 6: 23-24. What final blessing from a mentor would make a mentee sit, walk and stand with and for the Lord and live victorious in a dark world?
- Summary: What did you learn about the order of a victorious bride of Christ in a hostile environment, i.e., sitting with her husband in heavenly places, walking on earth in spirit guided relationships and standing firm against evil and dark world.

- Spiritual Enemies: The battle is not against flesh but against spiritual rulers, authorities, and powers of darkness in heavenly realms.
- Prayer and Alertness: Pray in the Spirit on all occasions, for all believers, and for boldness in proclaiming the gospel, as Paul requests.
- Final Greetings: Paul sends Tychicus to encourage the church, blessing them with peace, love, faith, and grace through Christ.
- Purpose: Equipped with God’s armor and prayer, the church stands firm, controls darkness, and advances God’s kingdom.
