Introduction
In this final session of the book of Luke 24:36-53, Jesus convinced the doubting and unbelieving disciples that he was alive. He turned their fear and guilt into courage and joy. He promised them the Holy Spirit and the power from above to enable them to become witnesses of the resurrection of Jesus to the lost world 🌎.
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Described the state Jesus found his disciples after His resurrection
- Identified at least three methods Jesus used to turn them from unbelieving disciples to believing and joyful disciples
- Appreciated to know what resurrected bodies could do by looking at Jesus’ resurrected body.

- Read Luke 24: 50-53. Describe the ascension of the resurrected Jesus? Where did he ascend, when, and how did he ascend? How did the disciples respond?
