How the richest tax man entered the kingdom of God
Introduction
In this session, Luke 19:1-10, Jesus taught his disciples on principles of money management. He gave the example of a rich person who changed from a thief into a responsible, relational person. We discover the purpose of Jesus’ coming was to seek and save that which was lost, namely, the kingdom of God, the dominion of God
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:

- Occupy until I come, investment of talents
Outline
- Understood the dynamics of the kingdom (how the kingdom works) by looking at what the servants did with the money entrusted to them.
- Understood how the rich people could enter the kingdom of God by looking at the story of Zacchaeus, the tax collector.

- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.

- What is the kingdom of God? What is entering the kingdom of God? Why did Jesus say it is hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of God? Luke 18: 22-25.
- Read Luke 19: 1- 10. What is said about Zacchaeus? List the people mentioned in this story. What was the role of each of them?
- How did the richest Tax collector enter the kingdom of God? Luke 19: 5-10.
- Discuss what the purpose of the Son of Man coming was? Luke 19:10.
