Introduction
In this session, Revelation Chapter 17:7-18, we are given the meaning of the secret woman, the beast and their relationship in establishing the new world order. This session will also discuss how the two will be defeated. False religion is against Jesus’ humanity and his divinity, it’s against His death, His resurrection, His accession and against His coming again to judge the living and the dead.

- Understood the Doctrines of false teaching/religion by listing its key stakeholders, its funding, its teachers, its curriculum and its security, but finally its judgment from the truth.

The defeat of Babylon, the prostitute and the beast
Revelation 17: 7-18
Audio Summary
Revelation 17:7-18
- Context:
- Revelation 17, set in the tribulation after the rapture, unveils the mystery of Babylon, a woman opposing Jesus’ church, revealed to John to warn believers.
- With the church raptured, this passage exposes Babylon’s deception to urge resistance against her influence.
- Understanding Babylon’s Mystery (Revelation 17:7-18):
- Babylon’s Identity (v. 6-7): John marvels at Babylon, drunk with the blood of God’s people and Jesus’ witnesses. The angel explains her mystery and the beast she rides, with seven heads and ten horns.
- Counterfeit Church (v. 7-8): Babylon, the great prostitute, mimics Christ’s church, killing believers through deception to destroy God’s people.
- One-World Order (v. 9-10): Babylon drives a one-world order, uniting religion, government, economy, media, entertainment, family values, and education under a false system, rebelling against God’s will, rooted in Genesis 11’s Babel.
- Spreading Lies (v. 5, via Matthew 28): Babylon promotes falsehoods denying Jesus’ death, resurrection, ascension, and return. These lies, funded by money and spread through media and governments, echo the soldiers’ false report in Matthew 28, deceiving the world.
- Beast’s Empires (vv. 10-14): The beast’s seven heads are kingdoms—five fallen (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece), one current (Rome), and one future (Antichrist’s reign)—all controlled by Babylon’s evil and prostitution.
- Lamb’s Triumph (vv. 15-18): Babylon rules over nations (waters), but her reign is temporary. The Lamb, Jesus, defeats her and the beast’s kings, fulfilling God’s judgment.
- God’s Mercy: Exposing Babylon’s lies offers a chance to choose Jesus, the Truth, and escape judgment, reflecting God’s desire to save.
- Application:
- Embrace Christ’s truth to reject Babylon’s deception; stay faithful to the true church, resist her one-world system, and share the Gospel, trusting the Lamb’s victory.
